End-of-Year Schedule for Schools
As the school year comes to a close, students, faculty, and staff at schools in the CCS will follow the schedule below:

Wilkins High School, Cumberland Polytechnic High School, Cross Creek Early CollegeHigh School and Cumberland International Early College High School
May 20 Required Teacher Workday
May 21 – 24 Teacher Workdays

Traditional & Year-Round Schools
May 24 Student Early Release/Last Day for Students/End of Semester

CCS’ First 2019 Graduation Ceremonies
High school seniors in the Cumberland County Schools will begin marching across the stage this week to receive their diplomas. The first set of graduation exercises will take place on Tuesday, May 21 in Seabrook Auditorium on the campus of Fayetteville State University, according to the following schedule:
• Cumberland Polytechnic High School 8:00 a.m.
• Alger B. Wilkins High School 11:00 a.m.
• Cumberland International Early College High School 2:00 p.m.
• Cross Creek Early College High School 5:00 p.m.

ALL MEDIA that plan to attend/cover the ceremonies are requested to do the following:
(1) Contact the CCS’ Communications Department in advance about your plans to
attend/cover the ceremony:
(2) Enter and exit through the front lobby at Seabrook Auditorium – Fayetteville State
University;
(3) Ask security or the door attendants to contact a member of the Communications
Department, upon your arrival; and
(4) Wear your credentials in plain sight.

No photographers will be allowed in the graduate staging area, on the stage or behind the stage.

Looking ahead …
Memorial Day to be Observed
In observance of Memorial Day, Monday, May 27 will be a holiday for all CCS’ Employees.
